"Wanderloom was born from a single question: what if technology could help you taste the world — not just see it?"
— Priya Nair, Co-Founder
In 2022, our co-founder Priya sat in a Marrakech riad, eating a lamb tagine that had been simmering since dawn. The cook — a woman named Fatima — explained that the recipe had been in her family for six generations. No written record. Just memory, passed hand to hand.
Priya thought: how many of these stories are disappearing? And how many travellers visit Morocco and never taste anything like this?
She called Kenji that evening. Within a year, they had built the first version of Wanderloom — a platform that uses AI to surface the food stories that guidebooks miss, and connects travellers to the real kitchens of the world.
Today, Wanderloom is a team of 12 food obsessives, travel designers, and engineers — spread across four continents, united by one belief: the best way to understand a culture is to eat it.

Human-Reviewed Recipes
Every dish carries the memory of a place, a people, and a way of life. We treat recipes not as instructions but as stories — and we tell them with the reverence they deserve.
We believe the best journeys are slow, curious, and led by hunger — not just for food, but for understanding. We design experiences that leave you changed.
Our AI doesn't replace the human touch — it amplifies it. Every AI-crafted recipe is reviewed by a chef from that culture. Every itinerary is shaped by a local guide.
We partner with local farmers, family-run restaurants, and community cooperatives. When you travel with Wanderloom, your money stays in the communities you visit.

04
Book a curated journey, join a cooking workshop, or simply cook the recipe at home. Wanderloom meets you wherever your wanderlust takes you.
Wanderloom's AI was trained on a curated corpus of culinary literature, travel memoirs, anthropological field notes, and oral histories — not just recipe databases.
It understands that a tagine is not just a stew. That mochi is not just a sweet. That the way a Korean family grills galbi is a form of love language.
Every AI-generated recipe is reviewed by a chef from that culture. Every AI-crafted itinerary is shaped by a local guide who has lived it. We call this Human-in-the-Loop Curation — and it is non-negotiable.
